The mild climate in the Canaries is characterized by low temperature fluctuations. In the rain-poor south, even in winter, temperatures rarely drop below 18 degrees and hardly rise above 24 degrees. The temperatures in the northeast are slightly lower than in the south. In August it can be around 30 degrees during the day.
Above 500 m it can get very cold at night and in winter. Therefore, in addition to headgear, sweaters, windcheaters and rain protection should also be in luggage.
Since the water temperatures in the Canary Islands are always between 18 and 24 degrees, the sea invites you to swim 365 days a year. The best time to travel is from November to March.
