An adventure trip to the great Mauna in Hawaii / Big Island with the largest telescopes in the northern hemisphere.
The Big Island is the largest of all the Hawaiian Islands. Pristine nature, huge active volcanoes, hidden bays and valleys, the Akaka Falls and the Volcanoes National Park with its fascinating lava landscapes await us here.

The Crater Rim Road, which runs around the huge crater of Kilauea, leads past most of the attractions of the national park: the most famous steam and sulphur springs, the viewpoint right on the edge of the 4 km long Kilauea crater, the Thurston Lava Tube, a lava flow cave from 5m diameter in dense rainforest, Kilauea Iki, side craters of Kilauea and much more.
